I play several characters on several different RPG systems three of them are D&D. I am an ubernerd after all.

I do have a level 40 sorcerer that would handle this situation with a quickened fireball, then proceed to level the entire dungeon with the 40 other fireballs he can cast daily (quickened, enhanced, maximized, ect).

In my latin class since my teacher is epic win we play D&D. But it's in latin. It's a lot more free than norm al D&D which is good, since right now I am a robot who can shoot everybody with mortars and fire poison needles from my shoulder.

You should look at Mutants and masterminds, it allows for any campaign setting and any character type. I once had a character with smision (smell vision).

I've always wanted to pick up on D&D, but I don't know anyone who'd wanna play with 'cause they don't seem interested. Is there any way to play the board game, not the game gotta pay for, online with others? I think that'd be pretty cool.

EDIT: You talkin' bout the board game or the MMO game?

He's talkin' bout' the online game because when you play tabletop you only control one character.

As for free online play of the the table top game, you can:
in fact I have run campaigns with: http://gametable.galactanet.com/

However you'll need to find your own source books.

EDIT: if you are looking for a free RPG that is fun, needs no books and doesn't need a character sheet try http://www222.pair.com/sjohn/risus.htm It's so simple you only need a few six sided dice to play. I've played this one both online and offline, it's always loving hilarious.

What's a source book? You mean like a rule book? If I can get a hold of this "source book" I'll play with ya if you want.

Last time I played this I unleashed hell on earth to get the mythical sword of Magnarada

Technically if you want to play there is enough free third party and fan created information to run a game without a rule book: http://www.d20srd.org/index.htm

Character creation can be easily done with an online or download able character generator.

As for me I don't run D&D games, I find it too restricting, That why I play M&M.

So you wouldn't wanna play a game of D&D and kinda teach me how to play? :(

So you wouldn't wanna play a game of D&D and kinda teach me how to play? :(

I'm not a DM, never have been, and I lack the experience in the system to be one. Like I said I play a lot of systems but "a jack of all trades is a master of none".

I have run M&M games and any risus but I've only ever been a player in D&D.

What's M&M?

Mutants and Masterminds, it was originally made to be a super hero system and the books reflect that. However super heroes tend to have more powers and abilities than could fit in a series of encyclopedias much less a single source book.

So the book is basically an "anything creator". Want to run a game in a fantasy setting with dragons and knights? you can, want those dragons a knights to have lasers and drive appropriately sized sports cars? you can do that as well.

I have run games in a post-apocalyptic setting (one was a zombie apocalypse, the other was post nuclear fallout-esque), "the world is floating isles on a sea of clouds and everyone has an airship" setting and even one that took place in the afterlife that literally did mix every genre together.

Sounds awesome. Are you able to play this online, or do you do it anyways? Sounds like something I could get into.
