Looks cool, but the neck piece is off of proportion :D

Does experience in modeling help with this?

It could, but, in this case, it would be easier since you're physically touching it.

You know nothing about 3D art. Real life physics is hard D:

Also very neat Kaje :D

Maybe a little, but I think you're more inclined toward this sort of thing if you like 3d modeling anyway.

And working with clay is harder than it looks.  I think 3d modeling on a computer is a lot easier, at least to make something look decent.

Yes, much harder than artificial physics.  And thanks :D

Edit: Also there is no undo button in real life, I would have given up a long time ago if I couldn't undo in a 3d modeling program :P

I tried to make some lego helmets (a headcrab and a combine soldier to be specific)
I got a decent headcrab, but it was a bit big, and i just failed on the soldier

very hard, especially at such a small scale

Kaje, these are really loving good, for the clay you're using (real clay).

Get something like Super Sculpey, your work would show alot more.  And you wouldn't have to worry about letting it sit out.

(the Young Link I whiped up pretty quickly with Super Sculpey)

I don't do 3d art, just figured that with the computer, you're just using a mouse or a tablet. I don't know how it would work with real clay, but, I've used Super Sculpey and, that seemed a little bit easier.

I don't know exactly how actual clay physics work, but, in this case, since you're doing it flat, it should be easier shouldn't it? And, good call on the undo button, I would have given up years ago aswell.

clay is a BITCH

that is all

You talkin' to me, partner?
