A modification for the Nintendo Wii console to allow you to launch homebrew applications. It isn't illegal unless you use illegal applications.

How do I get it?
Depends on your Wii firmware.
If your firmware is 4.0, then use the BaNnErBoMb
If your firmware is 3.4 or lower, you can use the 4.0 method or use the twilight hack

Got any application recommendations?
Yes. The Homebrew Browser. Google it.

Got a digital camera?
I use my HD camera's SD card for HBC.
:D

Anyways, HBC can be used to add the modified bootup to your wii.
Patches the warning sign so instead it can load homebrew or the menu
Total brick protection

yes i have a sd card from a camera but my sis wont let me use it :(
oh and i dont have a slot to put the sd card into ( both are broken lol) so ill need to get one of those usb addapters

You should just get a USB-SD plugin.
They work just fine.

There are 2 different 2D portal mods
Portii has tough controls, and "Still Alive Wii" crashes. I guess because I downloaded it with a almost full sd card
