I played for 3 years, mostly hanging out with friends and making clans (I'm level 93, I think). Runescape got messed up with the whole HD, and the updates that followed.

The only thing i liked about runescape was the openess it had, and the merchanting.

Now you cant even merchant things off

Tsn't the Grand Exchange merchanting? you go and put something up for grabs and wait for someone to buy it, then you go back or to a bank to claim your gold.

I remember in my computer class in middle school, one guy started playing runescape and then we were like 'OMG WHAT IF WE ALL START A NEW GAME?'

So we added everyone else and we would basically play the game. I was more into mining and smithing, so I would make everyone stuff :D.

Is awesome. If you like magic and dragons and dungeons and all that medieval stuff, you will love this game. --I love all that stuff and hate this game

Dress how you want and do what you want, just try NOT to cuss. --They censor it anyway

if you do its most likely you will be reported and then either muted or banned. --they can mute players now? and it takes a lot of reports to get banned. Also what are you, the CEO of Jagex now?

Merchanting was making profit off of things, buying something for low and selling high.

So you can still make money off of it, but you have to wait atleast a day for prices to change.

I also want to point out, that if someone had enough money, they could potentially buy out a whole commodity of runescape, making the prices sky rocket, then sell it off for massive profits.

Also, once you start selling things back, the prices will lower because the supply will have increased.
