You know, if it's deleted, how were you thinking that you were somehow going to get it back?

Do you even know what delete means?

Most data deleted off of a hard drive is recoverable, which is why the only way to make sure no one can see what's on your hard drive is to destroy it. Memory cards are small hard drives, but I don't see any way you could recover your data due to the fact that it's not a typical HDD for a computer.

When I delete something I use CCleaner and overwrite 3 times simply because it is possible to recover deleted files.

For simplicity's sake, I'll explain how I think systems use files.

We have a file named janebobble.jpg and listofidiots.txt

janebobble.jpg
listofidiots.txt

When I delete listofidiots.txt, it marks it as deleted.

janebobble.jpg
~~listofidiots.txt~~

When you add another file, it'll become..

janebobble.jpg
~~listofidiots.txt~~
mailbomb.exe

When you defrag it pushes files back to overwrite deleted files and organize crap.

janebobble.jpg
mailbomb.exe

I thought PS2 memory cards were flash cards that really only have save files on them. Getting the data back would be useless because it would only recover your saves. The disk would still not work yet still be needed.

I got the game from my uncles...they case was all nasty and broken >_> I kept it in the PS2 for a while when I was done playing since I didnt really have any other cases but when my dad plays hid football games he just tosses my games wherever...
