Wow... nostalgia rush!

The old bionicles bring back so much good memories of me putting them together and having them fight each other... The comics I also enjoyes...

The new ones IMO: Total stuff. It turned from awesome original Lego action figures to Lego cash cow #47.

It's kinda sad to see a young childhood memory turn into this. I remember when i was 7, My brother and I made this "Collusus" out of most of the sets.

To wrap this up: Original series' (Toa, Toa nuva, Rakshi, and Metru Nui) = good. New series' = D:

I liked the very first technic action figures they came out with, the Throwbots. Their stupid throwing arms were annoying though but what can you do, you could easily convert them into armor suits for lego dudes. Bionicles just seemed way too big for anything, and their parts were way too wierd to make anything with.

Bionicle used to be the stuff. Went downhill after they added another island or whatever the forget that was. Rahkshi looked badass. Especially the poison-acid green one.

I stopped getting them after the bug claw things that came after the Bohrok. Oh and the one gold toa thing.
Anyways my two favorite were the ice one (kohatu or something) and Lewa. But wah. I kinda feel bad that I havent kept up with the series. At one point I took all my toas and stuff apart and made these really epic creatures and I havent really gotten around to putting them back. Whatever.

This year they decided to start over because it was confusing for people who started liking it mid way. So the whole thing is all of this is some other universe or something with nothing like the old sets.

That's actually not true, it went downhill after 2007.
I made so many epic things out of those Barracki-things.

Generation 1: Hell yeah. Originals were ftw. Rahi were cool but I only bought those punching green and blue ones.

Generation 2: Bohrok things. They were cool. I only bought one.

Generation 3: New toa and new bohrok. I bought all the new toas and bohroks, except for the stone toa.

Generation 4: Holy stuff another supercool toa, bad guy, and a MOVIE. Nerdgasm right there.

Generation 5: New ugly colors, new toa and another movie. Pretty okay.

Generation 6: Same toa, but now they're mutated by spiders. I bought all those new playsets :D The big one with the mask for a gate was cool.

Generation 7: Ok, back to reality. AAR endorsement introduced and secondary storyline from it. Oh, and the first actual good game.

Generation 8: Underwater! It's pretty cool but not as cool as usual. Loved those dart shooters.

Generation 9: In the sky, It's alright. Some of the sets look cool.

Generation 10: In the swamp. Meh. I only bought one. They aren't the greatest, but its decent. Finally finish the quest.

Generation 11: Bad guy still at large, sets look lame now. Totally different story, glatorian stuff comes in and no one knows wtf is going on. Only the ice dude looked cool.

Generation 12: I forget, I saw the new sets on brickfair or w/e its called.

Started going downhill after Piraka and Inika. That was cool stuff.

I have a bunch of MOCs that I made out of Bionicles and tons of pieces. Pics later.
