Author Topic: I'm new to Blockland and extremely confused.  (Read 1381 times)

Well, it helps when you narrow the question down.
If you need help with the game itself, open it up and click Tutorial.

It seems to teach me almost nothing. Also, It took me over 15 minutes to load one game.

Try again, the first few times will probably be realy slow.

Will do. And it is confusing to not have the games and everything on the website and then to open the games up on another window. You could see a picture, and easier accessability, but it is okay.

It's not confusing, you just have to learn that most servers are crap.

In-game, click F1. It shows you ALL the controls you need to know.

Its called the tutorial my friend.

I appologize, but they way you explain it sounds very confusing. WHy not open up one window, get a list, click on it, then move onto that game? Going on a web browser, clicking it, then it popping up a new window just sounds confusing and error prone. Also, with the system we're running its very easy to make more internesting mods. I would suggest you get [url-returntoblockland.com]RTB[/url], as this shows this system's benifits; by adding in new content where a browsers based GUI wouldn't allow you (I'm guessing your from Roblox :D)

Also by the way lots of servers work having a picture would be useless; you'd probably me inside a brick or looking at a wall.

also spell check broke some how so sorry :(

there are a million reasons why a real game is better then some flash or java browser app.
i really couldn't get into it, it makes me sick just thinking about it.

mainly;
1-the game is dependent on your internet speed rather then your computer's so much. and even fast broadband still cap you per process. its lag regardless of what you have. loving loading everywhere.

2-unless you have some crapass computer from the early 90s, a person that likes video games would want their computer to render a game a little nicer then within a browser window.

3-your whoring that website/game for mouseclicks and adds.
not that you really need to feel abused from it, but its a sign of lowend administration and content.

Most of the time the first game you go to has LOTS of add-ons to download.  v12 comes with an option to turn off download textures, etc.

I cannot install RTB because when I get to the blockland folder in Programs nothing appears. I am on a Windows XP.

Are you still in the demo?
