Has any one noticed your shadow only appares on the floor of levels? I would suggest fixing this. unless of course its to hard to do so, which I wouldn't know seeing as I have never programed something like BlockLand...

because it can't appear on the sky.

But it dosen't go on base plates or any bricks, so whats that got to do with the sky?

it goes on the floor, and not the sky. i'm not sure this is possible, since bricks are static objects created by the player.

Your shadow appears in very clean detail and on bricks when you take a screenshot. I'm sure it'd be possible to add this as an "Extra Extra High" detail option for shadows for the people who want it. (Badspot would have to do it, though, engine side)

Yes Please

Space Guy the Forum Guru again shares his knowledge

I tried to make a white/glow plate to hide my shadow when taking a screenshot (for cutting out later), and then my shadow appeared on it because of the special screenshot detail. That's how I found it out :cookieMonster:

Brick shadows appearing on other bricks would be awesome but probably slow. Extra Extra Extra High?

Sooooo are you saying it can be done? it'd just go rather slow?

Ive often questioned that shadow thing.

It is possible, but may be laggy on computers that aren't very good. Badspot would have to implement it, it cannot be done through scripting. I suggest that it be reserved for a "high detail" shadows option.

okay thanks for clearing that up for me

Speaking of shadows, what about light mechanics in general?

Like keeping light from passing through bricks

Hmm I hate it how it goes through the wall like that. How hard would it be to fix that? AND not really on shadows, but wouldn't it be poissble to make it so music wouldn't go through bricks either? so you could have diffrent music closer to each other? but thats besides the topic...

(Hmm just asking, who is badspot, is that the name? the maker of BL? or just an admin? I mean no disrespect by not knowing who he is)

Badspot is the creator of Blockland. He made most of the engine-code modifications and thought up the original idea for the game.

What does the name badspot mean? or does it just mean what it says? a badspot?....
