What about something like...if you got a instakill like a rocket in the face...
you blow up.
Or a headshot, and your head falls off.
(Blow up, as in, all you body parts just fly off.)

That was the original gib idea, but people didn't know how to do it.

And I think mounting a deathVehicle to the body part would be laggy.

Or you lose one piece, and keep on moving.

nonono, your head pops off, then your hands, then shoulders, then torso, then pants, then your feet just stay on the ground when you die. but fast enough so n00bs don't stare at it in awe every time someone gets a kill in a DM.
but the body-part sensitive idea sounds cool. but it should have parts grouped so if your shoulder pops off so does your hand.
