That's more of what I meant, I don't expect them to replicate the entire map.
They didn't do it with 3.

Post apocalyptic stuff always interests me for some reason. That's the main reason I got the game. When I found out it was a "choose your own adventure" type of game, it became even sweeter for me.

"choose your own adventure" type of game
It's called an RPG

Chinese stealth suit and gauss rifle? That's my current character's armor :D

He used a Gauss Rifle, a Flamer, and a Fat Man.  He could have been using a Stealth Boy.

Of the best variety. Most RPGs simply focus on one story, one plot line. Your character is usually chaotic good and has to save the world. (see the Final Fantasy chronology) No hope for a mistake like most humans would make nor a possibility for a major downfall to ultimate evil. However, these types of RPGs take it to the next level and add the "Just how much of an starfish do you really want to be?" option. Which is more accurate these days since we know people get tired of playing the good guy all the time. Which is why I use the term loosely since it causes massive replayability.

That's not a true RPG though a true RPG allows you to be anything from Chaotic good to Lawful Evil

Well, more or less there needs to be a Middle ground in these games, just you know, neutral. People like to play through these games and see all the content unfold, it's best to keep it as simple as possible (Good, Neutral, Evil). Neutral ground seems to be lacking from most "Choose your own adventure" RPGs nowadays.

Or if you're going to make it complex, make it so all the more important content remains available to you somehow, to avoid frustrations.

Snot why does that armor not have the helmet part? mine looks like this: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/File:Crimson_Dragoon.png
Or is the ghoul mask covering it?

There is a mod that splits it into two pieces

Yeah, that's how they started and ended as characters, no "seeing the light" or "fall to corruption" anywhere in between. At least none that I have encountered growing up. RPG when I grew up only focused on gaining exp for points total and brief character trait enhancement. That was it. Then they started adding options of choice with different spells or traits, but still the character remained in his alignment. Lately it's been that you can determine their alignment whether it be good, evil, neutral, or go one way and suddenly change your mind and go the other way.
