I'm going to let you know that Builder's Club and the Turbo kind both cost a lot more than just buying Blockland.

Blockland is a one time payment of $19.95, you never have to pay again. (Unless you give your key out and get it disabled)
While those Clubs cost an outrageous monthly fee.

There's also much better moddability. Instead of just throwing in a few scripts, you can actually make new content with the Add-ons system.
As for lag and bricks, well that depends on your computer. Mine is rather old but I can play even with many bricks.

You host your own servers, which it's generally better if you host one at a time. There is much more you can do while playing online. Rather than having a place where everyone is forced to do the same thing, you can let everyone build and start their own minigames.
As for hats and gear, you don't need to buy any of it. You are allowed to use full customization without needing silly 'monopoly money'.

Here they are called servers. They are hosted on your computer, allowing almost complete control over it. Where at ROBLOX, they are called places. They limit what you can do while building and playing as the place is hosted on their server.
