Storm? I had one too, but there was no hail.. It was more like a downpour.

I can never get to sleep during a storm because when I was a young child there was a Tornado in my county and the sirens were going on and stuff and I was in the basement, and I guess it traumatized me a bit, so whenever I hear thunder or something that sounds like a siren I get startled.

I always have my fan on, dead silence makes my ears hear the rest of the family watching tv and doing other things, making me unable to sleep due to noises.
I sleep through storms so easily, I'm a heavy sleeper, also I snore loudly, runs in the family.
