Author Topic: Getting a 360, what games  (Read 2076 times)

So my mom's buying me a 360 and 3 games, pretty much. She doesn't like M games but I might be able to convince her to let me get 1 or 2. I want to get LotR: Conquest cause I like Battlefront style games and Lord of the Rings, but what other 2 games should I get? I like RPGs alot.

If you told her you wanted them used, would she allow you to get more games?

Maybe. Probably.

Get Fallout 3.

The guy at GameStop helped me out by saying it wasn't that gory because my mom doesn't like me getting that stuff usually. It's loving gory, because you can pop people's heads off... and other body parts.

Conquest is pretty cool. Rated: T
Fable 2 was pretty boring in my opinion, but, that may have been because I loved the original and 2 was just way to short. Rated: M
Godfather 2 is way fun. Rated: M
GTA IV is quite fun. Rated: M
Mercenaries 2 is just handicapped. Rated: T
Viking kicks major ass if you're into ripping peoples heads off, slashing them in half, dual-weilding, fire, and other violent stuff. Rated: M
Halo Wars is actually very fun, I like it. Rated: T
Call of Duty 4 is fun for me. Rated: M
Call of Duty 5's story line was handicapped in my opinion, but, I also only got it for national socialist Zombies. Rated: M
Fallout 3 is loving amazing, I think it's one of my favourite games that I own. Good RPG, and the expansions are just epic. Rated: M

Those are all the games I Have so I cant really tell you about many more, but, if you need reviews, I can do that :D

And when you shoot their heads off, you can pick up their eye ball and throw it at people  :cookieMonster:

Edit: stuff, forgot to tell you about live. If you get an xbox, just get the live cards, that's what I do, it's better because if you don't play for a while, you only pay once. I get the 3 month cards which are 20USD I believe.

Or you could just use Silver membership, I have yet to actually notice the difference but then again I don't play online all to often, which is to say never.

Gold has some random perks like the avatars or something. I dunno, guy at gamestop told me once, but, I never really bothered, most everybody has gold, so, it doesn't really make a difference.

Everyone can use avatars, I'm pretty sure it's a waste of money to use gold when silver still allows you to make friends and play online. Maybe the only difference is being able to use a microphone?

Don't buy games on the Xbox 360 if it's available on the PC (except stuff ports like Saint's Row 2, then avoid the PC version like the plague)

Star Trek: Legacy is a game I know she'd approve of. (Another sad attempt to get an online buddy for that game)

I buy those games because my computer is stuffty and the only good computer in the house is my moms, but she wouldn't want me to install a bunch of stuff on her computer.
Also, some games are better on the 360 because you never have to worry about minimmum requirements and such.

Did anyone say Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion yet?

I have played online with silver numerous times. I was playing Halo 3.

It's a glitch, most people really can't go on live unless you're on Gold.
