Client-Side Decals

Why not make the downloaded faces and decals client-side so every one can see?

They are client-side and that's why nobody else can see them.

Client-Side = you only
Server-Side = hosted by the server you joined

Putting them on the server would only add to the downloads people get when they first get the game...

The Funky Shirt is a mod, not a decal, which continually sends avatar changing requests to the server. It's exactly the same as if you'd went to the Options every three seconds and changed the avatar that way, except laggier.

It would be nice for people to be able to see the 'Funky' decals i've collected from the Forums, without having to download them directly from The Forums. But, on the other-hand, i would not want to have to download every single decal that the Server Host has. An option to choose whether or not to download them, would be good, and it would be off on default, of course.

Because funky shirt changes the COLOR of your avatar. That has nothing to do with decals (As far as I know, I've never actually seen it in action).

I would like decals to be server-side, though. It would have pros and cons, but I still think it would be nice.
