Author Topic: Gamestop trade in values?  (Read 2261 times)

you'd get about 20-30 bucks or lower
(i know it sucks)
Nor will they take any unopened games. You think they would, but they don't. And they still won't give you a discount even if you open it up in the store. They told me it actually had to be used for them to accept. And even so, I would have only gotten $23 for a mint in box game. forget Game Stop, sell them on EBay for a decent profit.

I got ripped off by them almost. I was going to sell them Transformers and Lego Indiana Jones, both were perfectly fine and I only used them 1-2 times. It came with original packaging and everything. I hand it in, and the worth? $10. Total. Not each, $10 for both games.

So I put them up on ebay as used and perfectly good condition. Got $30 each.

Gamestop could've taken my $10 and sold it as $40 each.

That is why you DON'T Trade in.

I needed the money and those games where complete stuff and they where taking up space on my game shelf.

I traded in some games a while ago(Crackdown, Assassin's Creed, Rock Band, Gun(360), TH Project 8, Skate., Guitar Hero 3, Quake 4, and Full Auto) and had enough to get Halo Wars as well as some left over, so it depends what you have and really don't want.

Most of those games I don't play because of sequels or general boredom and was never going to play them any time soon.

Plus if you're over 18 you can trade them in for cash.

i once traded in NCAA football and Corvette and got $2.31 total.
I need a paypal account.
