do you still have to emulate bullstuff just to game on linux? might as well own a mac.
linux got its uses, but gaming and standard home use isn't one of them.

It's not the OS. In fact, it's a UTILITY for the OS.

Nope, its actually running the Windows OS, using a partitioned hard drive. After the drive was partitioned with Boot Camp, I went through the Windows installation normally.

Also, mac is so much easier to navigate with the customizable sidebar.

It's your appeal to the OS itself. Plus I have a Mac (Panther - 10.3.9), PC (Vista - Not Bad anymore), and PC with Linux (Fedora 11 WITH wine)

Just don't get me started on Windows ME (Buggier than Vista in EVERY WAY!)

Um, no. At the touch of a wire, a PC will shut down. It's a bit more complicated to shut down a Mac.

You don't even know what Dashboard is, idiot. It's a feature that tells you the weather, temperature, and other things that pop up in windows which you can drag around. No need to go to a website.

Macs have a up on pc's as they are all controlled by the company that makes the computers BUT THEY STILL GET VIRUSES AND APPLE RECOMMENDS YOU GET A VIRUS SCANNER but they are total douche bags because they removed it to avoid being sued from false advertisement

PCs have the majority stake from windows 95 onward

linux is good because it is open source and anyone who knows how to add stuff to it can make their own personal OS

It's not as popular because anyone who used DOS realizes how useless a Mac is in comparison. I had to use a Mac for a full year, switching from a macbook to a desktop of some sort, for a class.

Like Tom said, it's just like installing it on a windows computer. Just because Windows made it easy to install it on custom computers, all you have to do is use a utility to partion the hard drive.
Also, Macintosh/Apple manufactures the computer and the OS, whereas if you need support on a Microsoft OS, you'll go hunting around with all the manufactures.
