So you do not have to deal with Win+M or minimizing everything Docks can be shown on any window level unless fullscreen.Who needs to open other programs while in-game?

Then use quicklaunch in the taskbar. But if I see a dock in Windows 7, I'll rage, unless their reasoning is good.

I'm reserving my taskbar space for start button, system icons, and APPLICATIONS RUNNING. Nothing else.
