elephant gun was the 30-6 caliber rifle i do believe. M1 garand and Springfield were 30-6 if im right.

the last three posters are entirely wrong

'elephant guns' are basically standard rifles with REALLY loving HUGE bullets, designed for killing elephants

they were never used in wars
