I think you should get Counter Strike: Source.

From what I've heard, Fallout 3 is laggy on a Nvidia 9800 GTX.

Runs quite well on my dad's laptop. But I guess 80-90 FPS isn't hip these days.

Its not easy hosting a server.
Theres about 400 servers on everyday.
