Quantum Computers. What do you think about them? Could they be the computer of the future?
To my understanding a Canadian company named D-wave has created a 16 Qubit Quantum computer, and they say it has some remarkable computing power. What might this mean for the future of computers?

I wont believe it until I see some photos :<

16 Qubit Quantum computer
that sounds all star treky :D

OH GOD I'M SO EXCITED

The future of computers. Now think of Bisjac's future computer. O.O

Wait... like quantum physics?

Will my computer be able to preform tasks for me before I ask it to?

AWESOME.

I remember hearing about them on facepunch:

Truly amazing, can't wait to see this completed and put on the market.

if i had to name a new computer technology, i would call it the "thinky machine box"

Have they made any predictions on how long it will take before the first commercially made quantum computers will be released?

What about printers that can print other printers?

AWESOME.

Yeah, Quantum theory applied to computers. Or something like that. I read an article and it said a 32 qubit quantum computer could handle 10 teraflops.

I'd assume it won't be for another few years, but with that said D-wave did predict it would be in 2008. So it might not be long at all.
