This. I believe Sonic Team boomed it at "Sonic Heroes", which happened after Sonic Adventure 2. However, Sonic 2D games are being (have been?) resurrected by "Sonic Team Jr."

Well, I'd have to say that Unleashed isn't bad on the day stages..where they actually brought back from Sonic Adventure 1 things..but 90% of the game is night, which makes it more handicapped..

Been made. Look it up, there's a Side-scrolling game of Sonic but it's by Sonic Team Jr as well, which I recommend not downloading until the update comes out.

It's obvious everyone wants Sonic Adventure 3, and Sonic Unleashed is no subsitute, even if it was called Sonic Adventure 3 at some point. To make a Sonic Adventure, you need:

A: Sonic

B: A platforming engine

C: Explorable worlds

D: A main hub

E: Several more characters to play as

F: Not introducing some new bullstuff character

G: A Chao Garden. :D
