Author Topic: The EasyToon topic  (Read 20614 times)

Well, I figured since the other topic we were discussing in wasn't really about EasyToon, I'd make a topic.

For those of you who don't know, EasyToon is a simple, frame-by-frame, black-and-white animating program. It's really fun once you get the hang of it. You can get it here: http://www.superfundungeonrun.com/easytoon/

A few tips:
  • "Save" only saves as a special EasyToon file. If you want an avatar, click "Save as GIF".
  • Use a lot of frames. See how mine are kind of choppy? I didn't do this, so mine look like that.
  • Make sure you make it 75x75 if you want to use it as an avatar here.
  • When the Duration is at 0, it's at default, which I estimate to be around 25-30..."units". If you want to make a fram longer, make the Duration at least 25-30.
  • Right-clicking while in pencil mode erases.
  • Clicking "Next frame" makes a new frame if there isn't one after the current frame.

I figured since making topics about a single person's avatar isn't exactly looked fondly upon by the community, I felt it would be good to make a topic for everyone who uses EasyToon, as well as show new people the program. So, post anything you've made with EasyToon here, and ask any questions you have about it.

Here are my current ones:
NO YOU DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO USE THESE UNLESS I GAVE IT TO YOU.

Another tip: If you want to have the same object in the next frame, copy the first frame and paste it in the next...

unless... is there an option that makes it carry the last frame over to the current one?

unless... is there an option that makes it carry the last frame over to the current one?

Not that I can find.

Does it have to be TF2 related?
