Author Topic: Has/does anyone here every played Runescape. I can't because Azjherben is censor  (Read 3427 times)

Does to.

I said.... My name is a word.
And that makes sence.
That doesn't make any sense.

My name is to a word.
It means "Azjherben"
That's like saying
"My name Dalton means Dalton."
"What the bible really means,... is the bible!"
"The skyscraper actually means skyscraper."

I played it for a couple months. Still got bored in those months. :D

...runescape... Yet another waiting game, as Marcem puts it. Click, wait..... forget YES I GOTS GOLD ORES!

Everything is a waiting game.

TF2.
Click.
Slight delay.
YES HEADSHOT.

GMod.
Click, hold prop.
Right Click, freeze prop.
YES I GOT IT IN THE RIGHT SPOT.

Everything has a delay.

Classic were fun.
Runescape is ze fail.

That's like saying
"My name Dalton means Dalton."
"What the bible really means,... is the bible!"
"The skyscraper actually means skyscraper."
Runescape is runescape/
Fail is runescape.
Fail is fail.
Good logic is good.

Runescape is runescape/
Fail is runescape.
Fail is fail.
Good logic is good.
What the hell are you talking about?
'A=A
B=A
B=B"
That's not logical at all, it would be simpler to just state that A=B and not say redundant things like A=A and B=B.

Everything is a waiting game.

TF2.
Click.
Slight delay.
YES HEADSHOT.

GMod.
Click, hold prop.
Right Click, freeze prop.
YES I GOT IT IN THE RIGHT SPOT.

Everything has a delay.

its not the delay im refering to. its the lack of things to do. everything in that game is run by this little yellow cursor that turns red when you click something. TF2, aim, your options are 'miss' 'hit' 'headshot' 'aim for another target' Gmod....well, you can just do everything that game, cant you.

Runescape has much more things to do than in TF2.

TF2, change class, change team, attack defend.

Runescape, look at all the skills.
Attack Construction Cooking Crafting Farming Firemaking Fishing Fletching Herblore Hunter Magic Mining Ranging Runecrafting Slayer Smithing Strength Summoning Thieving Woodcutting

However, TF2 has more action.
Some people like Runescape for what it is. Some people don't. There is no real need to force someone to think it's bad. Vice versa.

Attack Construction Cooking Crafting Farming Firemaking Fishing Fletching Herblore Hunter Magic Mining Ranging Runecrafting Slayer Smithing Strength Summoning Thieving Woodcutting

But are any of those things fun to do? And they are all run the same way. Tree? Click and wait for something to happen. Rock? click and wait for something to happen.

Team Fortress 2, join a server, many maps to chose from. chose a class, 9 to chose from. play any strategy you want, strategies vary from class. push the cart or clear the sentries ahead, defend the cart or take out the snipers.

Offense

Scout: Push the cart, rush the enemies that attack from long range. Capture control points, Sandman any ubers coming your way. use your double jump to find a spot to your advantage.

Soldier: Grab a medic and push the cart, shooting any enemies that come near you. Use the medic's ubercharge to take out the sentries, or the kritzkreig to dominate the enemies. Use your rocket jump to travel faster and find places to your advantage.

Pyro: Use your flamethrower's high damage to quickly take out sentries around the corner. Use your airblast to extinguish the fires of enemies, and constantly spy check. Use the backburner to sneak up behind enemies and do critical damage, and use your flare gun to burn enemies from long range.

Demoman: Take out the sentries with sticky bombs, and lob grenades over walls.

Heavy: Grab a medic to make the ultimate team, and dominate the enemy.

Engineer: Place teleporters to let your team reach the front lines faster, and build sentries to hold your position on the cart/point. Build dispensers to help your team live.

Medic: Chose between kritzkreig and the medigun, and heal your allies. Charge an ubercharge to help take out the sentries, and watch your patient's back for spies.

Sniper: Shoot people. Throw piss.

Spy: Use your cloak to infiltrate the enemy's position, and use your disguise to fool the enemy, then sap the sentries and kill the enemies that the rest of the team have trouble killing, such as heavies. use the ambassador to kill enemies from long range.

Just saying, in runescape, there is no tactic. no strategy to use. runescape is like.... a resource and trading game. Kill enemies to get resources, make goods, and trade them.

lol your the fool for sitting there explaining in length how a shooter is different then an mmo.

god damn your dumb

You obviously didn't read jsk's posts. He needed an explanation, and i provided him with one. Yep, I am so dumb

You think I think tf2 is just like runescape?
Wrong, I just said that same thing you said but applied it to runescape in order for you to have to go out of your way to tell me how it's different.

Also using the word fun is opinion-based.
