Ive been playing this game periodically for a long time now.
Almost 3 years.

Its a great game.
I believe it runs off of a modified quake engine.
But its completely open source.

If it's almost a carbon copy of Quake, you're pretty much saying Quake is slightly fun.

I also don't see how Darkplaces is a source port. All it is, is the Quake engine heavily modified.

Some braindead people think that Halo is the best FPS and is the most revolutionary. That means they think that Doom, Quake, Half-Life, and System Shock don't mean stuff. What do they need? Horse stuff thrown at and force-fed to them.
