Well its nice to see that the good old "Mac is just a pc with a nice paint job" theory is still going. How ever this is not the case.
I was aiming more for "Mac is much like a PC, but it doesn't work with anything but with what mac gives you" but that works nicely. just add in "Mac is just windows with a nice paint job and custom parts and fanboys everywhere" and your right on the ball/
I have spent a good amount of time doing versus jobs for versus people to do with there computers and I have seen what a Mac is made of and how it differs to even the best of pc's.
This statement doesn't even make sense.
So I'l put it this way. Windows is like an American made car, Mac is like a Swiss made car.. and Linux well its Korean.
If American means standards, works fine, and is combatable with everything, then correct.
If Swiss means unnecessarily expensive and supported by fanboys, you are by all means right.
If bykorean you mean easy to change, modify, is free, works with absolutely all hardware (and most software), and looks very nice, then you've got it right.
Macs= better for things such as art, music, videos
Pcs= better for gaming
no. I've edited tons of videos on Windows just fine. and if an operating system change makes it easier to edit videos then the world is just forgeted up.
I have a quad core PC with 2GB of ram and the sims 3 runs better on my duel core Macbook pro with 500mb of ram.
Unless your running vista windows will runs games better. Also, who gives s stuff about ram or CPU. Show us the video card.
