I've tried like 15 times, and looked on the spore website. Help pls?
No, I am not offline. How would I be posting this
I just wanted to play spore all of the sudden, so i reinstalled it :u
oh and no stuff like "spore sucks" because how the forget will that help me?
edit: also, no, I did not pirate it. If you really need to have proof i can get a picture of my case.

Firewall or anti-malware blocking it possibly?

Also it's probably like the "cannot find a copy of SPORE installed" problem I had with the C&C pack long ago, where lots of paying customers owned both games on the same delivery system (physical copy or digitally downloaded), and Maxis didn't even bother to look at the problem.

nup, i added spore to my firewall exception list and its still doing this.

edit: aggh forget i restarted and it still doesnt work

Try re-reinstalling?

Or disable/enable your internet adapter.

It may be that you have used the key more than 3 times, since the game only allows for 3 uses of that certain key. My friend bought Spore but it didn't work for his comp so he gave it to one of his friends who used the key and then gave it to me. So my friend's use of the key will be the last it will ever allow.

That too probably, but it's possible that its increased to 5. If not you have to call them to unauthorize previous uses.

Let me check if it works for me too, but I may not have any trouble becuase I'm nt registered, AKA no player made stuff.

Try to disconnect from the player based world, it might work.

It's most likely some maintenance they're doing and they don't have an appropriate message to display it. Have you checked their site to see? It's doing the same to me as well.

I want Spore but it still costs half a billion dollars.

...Seriously why the forget is $60+ now the standard for game prices?
