Author Topic: HALP! Checkpoint Events Glitch  (Read 621 times)

Whenever I hit a checkpoint in my RPG, I spawn very very high in the air above the actual checkpoint, falling to my doom.

What is up with this? It only happens for checkpoints that do not have a roof above.

For example, if I hit a checkpoint inside a house, I spawn normally. If I hit a checkpoint without a something above it, I spawn really high up. Do I really go and have to make invisible baseplates over all 15 of my checkpoints in the open?

I put a roof partly above one of the open checkpoints and it did not work... maybe it has to be completely covered?

Anyway, please help.



just put invisible roofs everywhere. make it no collide to. Not that big a deal.

It is a big deal. I tried putting invisible walls, and it didn't work.
I will post my console log later, once my computer is free again.

Waitwait- I might have found the problem.

YES! I FOUND THE PROBLEM!

It only happened when on a 64x64 cube, maybe because there was too much space and it didn't know where to spawn the player on the cube.

But now I must set my checkpoints in other areas, or destroy everything on top and make a plate, then re-build...

Okay, I have fixed all the checkpoints now.

Thanks for your help, but it was just a problem with the mod itself :S
