Author Topic: well it's halfway through july, it's started again  (Read 1442 times)

Every summer, halfway through july, this stupid annoying bird rams it's face into my window at 10:00 every morning, on the dot. This is year 3, I'm starting to wonder if he's ever going to get stupid enough to leave.

How do you know its the same bird?
Bird stalking maybe?

Put some curtains up so it doesn't think it can fly through?

Sounds like avian OCD to me.

i once saw a bird crash straight into a window as i was walking past it, i think it died in the air or somone shot it

but no, although my mom is obbsesive compulsive about cleaning so everytime it gets scratched up from him she cleans it.

Pull the shades or maybe electrify the window temporarily. ;)

Get a giant wooden owl and hang it outside your window.

Our giant bay window always has birds hit it. Theres just a huge "pow!" and then dead bird :(.

the wierd thing is this bird won't die.

i once let my pet love bird out of its cage when i was 7, cause everyone was telling me it needed to fly around a bit. so i gave in and listened to them... the bird got so overwhelmed it flew right into the balcony window and SPLAT ...dead :(
but id think random birds flying into windows would be kinda funny.

When I first got my dove, he'd hit the windows sometimes, but now he knows they are there.
