My plan.
Grab anything useful in the house, the machete, etc.
Get ahold of all my friends.
Report to costco while dispatching infected with equipment.
Fortify costco, having guards at every entrance.
Deploy big metal doors.

-Day 3-
Begin sending out scavenges, raiding places such as gunstores, grocery stores, etc.
Set up traps.
Send people out to kill hunters.

-Month 5-
Scavenge.
Hunt.
Guard.
Make traps.
SURVIVE.

Nukes are unlikely because the area would be uninhabitable for awhile. Non-nuclear explosives and ground troops clearing the streets though...

My Plan
I join up with my neighbors (they have trucks) we then drive around the city until we can steal a couple boats and ATVs, at this point we would have to determine how far the virus has spread, if the virus was contained to the western US we would cross the river in the stolen boats with the ATVs loaded into the boats. After we were across the river we would flee north to northern Wisconsin, there we would settle on an island on the great lakes, there we would live off the land, paying attention to radio broadcasts, we would try to join up with other survivors (and try to find some females, just in case)


Go ahead shoot my plan full of holes, I'll patch it.

In suburban areas nukes will be set off.  We cannot possibly check every sewer, building and every little crack to find all of the zombies and kill them.  Not to mention the cars will be jam packed on where the haven will be at.  So we can't check every car if theres a zombie in there.
