Summoner game?

Okay so i recently revisited Diablo 2 (i made a topic a while ago, nobody played it with me...) anyway i play a necromancer... but everything is a little to fast paced in Diablo 2 for me, plus there's only like 42 quests. Anyway... im looking for a game, that has online + offline capabilities, and a class or the whole point of the game is to be a summoner... and don't say overlord 1/2. So i want it to be FULL SANDBOX... even if its sandbox and you can have pets, i just wanna be able to kill people and you know unleash hell on people... (bloodier the better)
and don't say overlord 1/2

oh and also is Hellgate: London worth it?
