Synergy is a free mod, you need to own Hl2 (or any source game?) to run it. And you can choose your playermodel but you can't "customize" it.

Damn, well im still gunna get it, do you need half life STEAM version or can you get it somewhere else and have synergy work the same (i bought it at best buy 2 years ago)
