This is mostly a bump, BTW. And what I'm asking for is an uncontrollable pod. An orb. That seats people. Don't distort that with your steerable pods or your rockets. Gravity works well enough.

what good is an escape pod if all it does is launch you further into space?  srysly, it needs to have some kind of control.
