Game
The game case front. :P

My Opinion
It's pretty cool so far. :P
Seriously, I'll get addicted to any RTS games, but this one by far, is my most favorite. :D
Has anyone else tried this game? If so, tell me your favorite faction.

Mine would be the Japanese, for their amphibious vehicles. :D

Red Alert 2 was better, the one made by Westwood and not friend EA.

EALA took Red Alert 2, fed it through a chopped up mutilated form of the CnC3 engine, added a storyline that made absolutely no sense and gave the newest tradition of extreme unbalancing that will take over 9000 patches to fully balance it. Not to mention their entire advertising campaign is just a bunch of vegas girls dancing around in soviet parade uniforms with really horrible acting attempts at being Russian. Only the males of the Soviet films were actually convincingly Russian.
Don't forget the stupid fan-base stuff spawned after CnC3 or w/e. This handicapped Battlecast primetime. It's full of stuff. It's 45 minutes of "HEY LETS TEASE AT THE FANS OF THE NEXT CNC HEY LOOK AT THIS MATCH HEY LETS TALK TO THESE GUYS"

  • Soviets

Holy hell, these guys are like the mascots of Red Alert almost. Defenses are stuff, base building idea is stuff, and overall they suck in RA3 and can be beaten in a million ways, by both Japs AND Allies.

  • Allies

FDSFADFADF loving OVER POWERED ASSfriendS.
They have like a hundred super weapon powers they can call on at any time, they got rid of the loving awesomest superweapon IMO, the weather control device (thanks to EA's brilliant idea of "LOL EINSTEINS GONE" story). Not to mention their airforce. Holy stuff. I won an online game just cause of 4 allied bombers. That's it. It's all it takes.

  • Japanese

These guys are alright. Sort of decent, and their assistant chick is hot to the max and not some fatter chick or bad-acting chick or no-acting at all chick.
These guys are actually decent in this game, but sometimes all the transforming things get a little confusing if you don't remember to do it right.

  • Story

All smart people facepalmed at it. Einstein gone != no more nukes. Nukes would still exist. Sure the allies won't have prism towers (even though somehow they still do but a cheap lower rendition of it), weather control devices or chrono technology (LIKE IN THE ORIGINAL loving GAMES, AND SOMEHOW THEY STILL HAVE IT TOO IN RA3), but there'd still be loving nukes for the soviets. So then we won't get this stupid ass "vacuum imploder" stuff that looks like some japanese sunrise attack.

Pre-game rating: 9/10. I was hyped. I was pumped. I was going to love it.

After-beta rating: 6/10. The graphics sucked, the multiplayer sucked, everything sucked about the beta. I had no fun other than telling 2-3 friends "i got teh beta!!!!!".

After-game rating: 1.5/10. Horrible. It's worse than that horsestuff truck driving game with no proper terrain or w/e. I can't believe CnC fans are still playing this cheap excuse of a game. I expect CnC4 will probably be just as worse.

For the sake of humanity and the (now former) king of RTS, I hope EALA gets shut down. It should've been shut down after RA3, Uprising is probably just as worse. I didn't even bother thinking of buying it, or even getting the demo to see if its worth it.

IMO, Command & Conquer died after Renegade, the only good game after it being CnC3 where it was actually decent till they had to release like 10 loving patches for proper balance. Don't even get me started on this "rock paper scissors" chickenstuff.

tl;dr: RA3 sucked, Uprising probably sucks, and CnC should be left to rest in peace forever. Let something like Dawn of War take its place as King of RTS.

Grrr RA3
I hated it, worst game Ive ever acquired
You could tell they spent more time on the hot girls then they did on the actual game. I was bored of it a couple missions in.
Also General Nick is right, the storyline was just stupid

I wasted $60 on the damn premier edition. Most of the music wasn't that great anyway either :(

You also know what I hate about EALA? They were going to make something like TIBERIUM, something that looked awesome. Being able to be in TWIII in person. Then they cancelled it. Who knows, maybe it would've sucked too. "LETS TAKE KANE OUT OF TEH PLOT LIKE EINSTEIN IN RA3".

I have to agree with Gen. Nick also.
The story line may be pretty absurd/stupid/pointless, but I still find the game interesting. I only do RTS games for the Skirmishes.

Also, who did you mean by "Assistant chick"?
Did you mean the commando unit Yuriko?

Anywho, yes. The story was absolute stuff, thats why I didn't play the campaign, only Skirmish rounds. :|

Allies
Yeah. Overpowered to the max. Their Commando unit sucks, makes me feel like I'm playing as a hooker in a war zone. Their loving Cryowhatevertheforget is pretty loving cheap as well. "HURRRR LET ME RUN IN AND FREEZE YA :DDDDDD"

My Decision: No. Horrid faction.

Soviets
Playing a Skirmish round with these forgets is annoying. All they do is spam/camp a clusterforget of Anti-Air vehicles, then bunch them up into one big group and wait for a loving plane to come by so they can rip it shreds. Their Commando also sucks. She's litterely a fake-russian whore with an SVD. Lame.

My Decision: No. Gay.

Empire
This faction is alright. There construction style is pretty OK. Their Commando is alright, but sucks when mobbed with a ton of loving troops/tanks/stuff.
The fact that they have a lot of Amphibious vehicles enlightens me, greatly. But this "giga-fortress" is kinda cheap.

My Decision: Yes. OK faction to be when playing a Skirmish.

Although, I never played the Beta. I bought this game because I thought it would interesting. It is to me. Once again, I can get addicted to any RTS like game, if it's good.

bah,I could never beat mission 6 for anybody, the only reason I played it was to use lots of peacekeepers and dogs to take enemy soldiers apart for the laughs

god ea sucks......they stopped some good games from getting to the market ( like thrillkill ) and are even trying to buyout rockstar ( i hate those motherforgeters at ea )

Until they're all flattened by an anti-infantry vehicle? :P

Don't forget that they tried buying out Valve.

C&C4 is going to suck even more. Just read about it and you'll see.

Not to mention that they treat their employees like stuff.

The only good game EA has ever made might be the Medal of Honor games.
