Wot 'appened to the wollywog? Did you round out the sides a bit? If you did then it's pretty much ready.

I notice no one has posted anything so I'll just post my status. Currently trying out a method to control multiple bots using bot control groups. Every brickmin will be in a group no matter what and that group will do most of the handling. I thought about it and I think this is very close to how it's done in pikmin, seeing how when you dismiss pikmin they'd generally separate into groups based on type. Also when you would dismiss near some other pikmin that are joining they'd join that group. So I think this method will work and I just need to add more functionality (all bots do right now are join a nearby group when created or create their own if they can't.

How will they carry crap?

I'm not entirely sure how to make multiple brickmin carry one object, will probably have to setting for mounting it to one and getting the others to surround it. Or we could make a player type for the object and make them surround that xD

Rember, Purple Pikmin count as 10 Normal pikmin.

I'm working on the monster AI, where Nit is working on the Pikmin AI (which is probably harder)

I'm making the base of it. Monster's every like ~3-6 seconds they randomly walk a little around, and when they reach their destination, they will look in front of them (within a preset FOV) and if there is a player or pikmin in their sights (not blocked by stuff), they will attack them.

Sounds good to me. Pikmin type ai isn't too hard, you just need to have it figured out. Both types have their hard points.

Anyways progress report:
Got Brickmin following the player around
Added a dismiss command, might map to space/shift key?

It'd be really nice to to see that map in person ZSNO or also to see some models in game (right now stuff that brickmin will be carrying.

Oh and heres an idea, what if instead of collecting spaceship parts, you had to collect bricks to build.. something important.

Seems like this is getting pretty far somewhat. Anyone want to send me the Pikmin AI or Enemy AI so I could test the models on it?

My enemy AI is barebones >>

It's not even functional yet. I'll get it working. I'm going to work on it now.

A civilization on a new planet for the human people? :o
