Author Topic: Combat Arms Review  (Read 2050 times)

I HAD to.  This game is a clone of the popular Valve game Counter Strike.  It's meant to be played online. More on that later.

The graphics aren't that great, the water is just BAD.  They didn't TRY.  It uses a menu system much like the game Cross Fire, it's only 1024x768, until you get into the actual game.  Then it's your specified resolution.

The gameplay isn't really that bad.  But it isn't another counter strike.  It's just CS watered down for kids.  It feels the need to fill your whole screen for a kill message though, something like
5 KILLS.

The community was HORRIBLE.  Apparently, there's no more hackers because of the latest update.  Explain to me how 3 people can kill 5 people in under a second, then.  Also, it was with a loving knife.  Also, the game sometimes decides not to start, much like America's Army 3.  I am NOT returning to this game.

Operation 7 is better but has a bad login system(i.e. you log in, start game, and it tells you to log in again.)

Oh yeah :o the firfox launcher annoys me sometimes.... but its not significant enough for me to notice until your brought it up X3

combat arm can will die

hey i haven't played combat arms in  a really long time due to me getting counterstrike complete pack, hackers, and finding out that it was a giant poser corperation... anywho, does it have plant bomb and defuse?

you totally missed the point that its free

and you missed the point that there are plenty other free fps's

you totally missed the point that its free
Who the forget cares?

you totally missed the point that its free
Being free does not redeem it of being stuff.

Mow some lawns. Stop being so damned lazy so you can afford to play games that aren't stuff.

you totally missed the point that its free
That just makes it even worse. Everyone who has a brain, especially excluding you, would know that anything free sucks.

Same in Star Wars Battlefront 2. The menus are at like 800x600, but it goes to your specified resolution once you actually enter the game. That only bothers me because it makes the steam overlay huge :c

you totally missed the point that some of us have a job and don't live in "poor-ass cardboard boxes" - Chad Warden
