GUYS.  When you install 7 RC, you will not be able to upgrade to 7 retail without losing everything.  So, unless you are willing to fix your stuff again when you get the retail version, you should just stay with what you have now.  It comes out soon anyway lol.

pattern? please explain.

Just one poorly informed decision involving the purchasing of overpriced hardware/software after another. First a Mac, and now a gaming laptop.

Yay that's what I thought you implied when you said about the pattern :D.

I don't think most people will buy 7 ultimate because the only thing it has over 7 Pro is more languages.

So your point is moot

If they're upgrading right now before it's released, then they either are beta testers and for free have the rtm(I think) or are illegally downloading it.

So either way they have ultimate.

My point stands.

The beta and RC are ultimate.

What I'm saying is most people who read what's in each version won't buy ultimate because it doesn't have anything important over 7 pro.

You lose.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, you're funny bro, even my 3000$ PC has 2gb's of Video ram, and that is the most powerful graphics card available to the public.

i havnt looked into laptop hardware. but i very much have to assume that cant be true.
powerfull cards are 4 inches thick and 11 long. that wont even halfway fit into most laptops.
then there would be heat issues with that squeeze anyways. and i bet some fool would try to run that on battery for like 10 minutes.

and 4gigs of vram sounds like dual vid cards. that cant happen in a laptop

i think 7 is the same thing as vista, cept compatability modes actually works with everything, however you need it.
I'm using evaluation copy, build 7100. It's the commercial build, and it has worked flawlessly so far :D

Wrong.

Good job on buying a pc, my bro and my dad have that brand as well.

Wrong.
What is wrong? That a 295GTX is the most powerful card? as far as I know it is the most powerful card. And if it's the ram, okay sure it only has 1768mb or some crap like that but it's 2gb to me.
