Author Topic: Vehicle shadow = Collision box?  (Read 1214 times)

Currently trying to finish off a vehicle, but it seems the shadow is the collision box? Is there a way to fix this without making an extremely complicated collision box?

Cheers.

Blender or milkshape

Milkshape.
On export does it say anything about exporting as triangle strips?

Nope.

:[ Well, I don't know then in blender that's how the shadows are made.

Try making all the parts of the vehicle's LODs 32 and the collision box's LODs at -1.

Tried that just then, didn't work :(

I usually have the Lods set to 16 and collision at -1 anyway

Bump, still don't know why this is happening.

Well, bump again.

Ontop of the existing problem of collision box shadows, from a distance it actually displays the collision box - But not when you zoom in or get too close to the vehicle.

export to blender then blender to dts :o?

I think it has something to do with exporting the lowest LOD which would be collision-1.
