Well look, he gets everyone so excited because all the users on this forum are surprisingly simple and all these modders jump on the bandwagon to try and help make this "awesome thing" then it inevitably collapses (as I predict) and everyone has wasted 2 weeks/1 month+ of their lives on nothing. This has happened so many times that I could link you to 5+ threads off the top of my head where I have correctly predicted the imminent collaspe of the mod proposed.

People just get excited too easily and then they just get disappointed when it never comes to fruition - then unlike monkeys (which remember bad experiences and try to avoid them in the future) - people forget this and then get excited about the next mod someone proposes. Funny stuff really.

Possibly, they'd get more motivation and more relevant practice if they pursued tasks that were more at their skill level though - because they'd be able to see it through to the end.

From working on Survival Rp, my scripting skills have greatly improved (from what they used to be :P)
