Please, if I am doing anything against the forum rules here, let me know. As far as I can see I am able to post this without getting banned.

I have had this emulator for a while now, as the new PS3's had the ability to play PS1 and PS2 games removed from them. Overal it's quite fun to play some of my old Playstation games in my dusty closet.

Now see, the thing is with this emulator, is that you need the game disc inserted to your disc drive to play the game. There are no "ROMs", or any of that bullstuff. You only need a PS1 BIOS file and your own game disc.

Personally I love playing the Crash Bandicoot series, I grew up with those games as well as Crash Team Racing (<3) and the Spyro The Dragon series. One of my other favorites was Croc: Legend Of The Gobbos.

Anyway, discuss. Again, if I am posting against the rules, let me know. I will remove the content and lock the topic immediately if so.

It's not because you already own the games legitimately.

weee flying rally car
-snip-

Is that Colin McRae Rally? I can't remember which one it is, I recognise the HUD

it is, i only really played it to use the flying car stuff :D

Hahaha

I remember I spent like five hours trying to make a car explode on CMR4, I thought it would be so cooooool :D

Can you modify things such as frame rates?

It'd be nice to play Gran Turismo 2 at 60 fps.

forget YES. I own Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 for the PS1, but I didn't own one. Now I could play it.

Emulation is illegal because it breaks terms of service, typically. You can even see in the opening of DOA 4, the huge contract says "No reverse engineering, extracting, or emulation" or something along those lines

I really think that Sony should care, you aren't giving the game away free.

No wonder I couldn't get Gauntlet Dark legacy to play on this emulator, it's for only PS1 games. :3

its not about the games that make the playstation illegal to emulate.
its the bios file of the PSX that is illegal to have,

Its fun, I just play all of the PS1 games I have around the house and I also got it on my laptop so I can play it on the run, much like the N64 games  :cookieMonster:

I also have 2 of these so its epic win on Laptop and PC

Yeah I have 2 converters, 2 player on PC = epic.
