I suggested the spell check function for the forums in suggestions & requests!
Nuts to all of you that thought it was a bad idea.
Sorry for the gloating topic I couldn't resist!
See, not one incorrectly spelled word!

This isn't a new concept. I've seen other forums with this ability since 2004.

Don't try to take credit. I'm sure Badspot didn't even consider your suggestion.

I'm sure it's just something he didn't bother disabling, considering as I hear, signatures were enabled when the forums came back online.

Some of the things I used to like are now stupid.

On all SMF forums, by default, signatures are displayed in posts.

This, and I don't use the built-in one or my browser's one (I disabled it). If I make a typo, big whoop.

The only way to settle this is if Badspot himself says he didn't use my idea.
If he does I will gladly lock this topic.
