Discuss on the most ignored game of Lionhead Studios, replaced from its spotlight by Fable.

Basically its a God game. You fight other gods (BnW1) or civilizations (BnW2), you can have your own pet creature to be tall, strong, small or fat. Any way you like, it'll be so. You can choose to be good or evil in both games, and the way you choose reflects on the environment of your influence and your way of winning the game (Only in BnW2.)

tl;dr: You are a God.

Aside from the Dr. Moreau like theme, I found the game to be amusing for a while. But I do prefer Fable. :)

i never liked my monkey monster helping the people. i could just as easily grab trees for them.
i would teach him to randomly pick people up and whip them across the land :D

Personly, I loved b&w 1, But If you ask me, They forgeted it up on b&w 2 because they removed skermish games and multiplayer.

Yeah, but in BnW2 there's more pretty graphics, easier creature stuff and easier to tell if you're doing good or bad. But I do question what's the bad in building a Volcano wonder.

I don't know, I allways say grpahics don't make a good game, And I got bored quite quick with B&W 2, It wasn't as open as the first, With the side quests and such

Yeah, I agree. I got motivated for side quests only to get tribute to buy Wonders. Then after I beat the game, I only played it again once more for nostalgia a few years later. It'd be nice if they made a BnW3 with multiplayer.

plus, on the level where you are against the viking leader, there is a guy outside your city.
you can throw him and get tribute.
i once threw him from the viking city and lost him...lol.

I threw him into the ocean and got like 500 I think. I got like 10,000 tribute lol.
