This goes here because it is discussing other games.

Anyway:

I don't want to retype it, so I'll just quote the basic stuff.

By joining this group you agree not to buy any game based off a movie. This does not include original games with characters from movies. (An example would be Batman: Arkham Asylum) The reason we boycott these games is because it will force developers to produce original games instead of terrible games that loosely follow the plot of a movie.

I boycott them anyway. The only decent movie-game i've ever played is A Bug's Life.

I'll only join the group if you promise not to spam group events like No Heroes does with the same damn thing. I got like 5 payload race, "war" in warpath, insurgency or w/e on steroids and etc stuff.

At least it's not another L4D2 Boycott. The funny thing is that almost all of those boycott people will buy the game anyway because once L4D2 is a game, they know Valve will not make it into DLC for L4D.

@Nick I probably won't even use the events thing.

And plus, game-based movies must be boycotted aswell, 95% of it SUCKS

Maybe because developers take less effort on them than their original games?

Yep, just a few guys are really going to make a difference, and make developers stop making what is a lot of their profit.

If I can get a lot of people to join, I think that Disney and those people will realize that people want original games.
