Yes, I live in New Ulm, MN.
I heard about 12 noon that there was a small rain system heading towards us. They said it was just rain, but it was going to hit us right on anyways. There was no tornado, no severity.
It was a few hours later on the radio I head that a tornado had been spotted a few miles south on downtown Minneapolis, I didn't hear of the other two.
Maybe... 3-ish, they said the storm had gotten stronger and with more wind. It had slight rotation.
Around 5:00, the storm had reached a neighboring town of Sleepy Eye, and the storm had gained much strength. It had hail, heavy rotation and strong winds. They had a tornado touch down about 2.5 miles southeast of the town. The tornado sirens went off in New Ulm, and people in Sleepy Eye were locked in businesses and homes. It never went to the town, but several people saw it.
It barely missed my town of New Ulm. We went out to dinner right about when the sirens went off. It started raining very hard. My sister was in Target, and they had everyone get into the tornado shelter they had.
After dinner, we followed the storm for a while. There was lightning galore.
Well, that's my end of it. :D
