This is your command screen. Here you can view mail, maps and your logbook. You can also recharge your ammo supply as well as shoot your ship's cannon if under attack. Your mail button is blinking.

All options, Read mail, read logbook, replenish ammo, and then look at the map.

Also, shoot the ships cannons to see if they are working right..
