I know you said no gas but I live in NY where we generally have moderate weather.  But if I shouldn't get gas I won't get gas, I don't know too much about airsoft in general.

Also: First gun is absolutely horrible and the second is pretty good, don't buy from Hobbytron though.

Also, how much do I need to pay for a quality AEG?

WE GBB pistols are pretty good but, I've heard about some magazine problems. You can get a quality AEG for atleast a hundred dollars.
