See I really have always been fascinated by tactical simulation. I've always thought it'd be neat to lead a squad of guys into battle, but without all the real danger.

YES ANOTHER AIRSOFT PLAYER ON THIS FORUM!
I have a JG G36C, and one of those UTG multishot shotguns that are loving great for close range.
Currently, I'm saving up for a JG S-system and a holosight, I should have enough money by around January
My whole group of friends are into airsoft, we use my friends field and there spools as cover, and with 20 people, the games can get pretty intense.

Hm. Right.

I understand the concept, and I also understood the idea of wearing light t-shirts. But I dunno, it just doesn't seem like you can keep track of the hits very easily. I mean, if you're far away and someone uses say a weak handgun on you, you might think it was just an itch rather than a pellet. Or vice versa, you feel you got hit when in reality you didn't.

I dunno. It still sounds like a neat idea, but then also hard to play.

It's a sporting sport. Everyone is on the same terms, everyone is fair. it's played for fun, not competition, so there's no "LOL NO I DIDNT GET HIT". It's more for the simulation and fun. Rarely, someone uses a weak pistol anyway. The people I play with have pretty badass guns, when we have extra people they use the weak stuff.

Save up and buy this, the guns you chose are stuff and will break in the first week if you plan to play more than one a month.
Plus, don't use .12 gram BBs, only use .2 grams or higher because .12 gram BBs are manufactured with scrap plastic and can break inside your gun causing damage to your gun, or whoever you shoot if the BB decides to break into pieces and send plastic shrapnel flying everywhere. Tell you what, if you or anyone else needs help with airsoft, just PM me. I've been playing for two years now and I know what I'm doing.

im not in the mood for a shotgun, just a 30$ or less spring rifle airsoft gun. i didnt think i would get a quality gun. so .2 or higher? let me go through my list and see which ones qualify

well the 30$ beast says .12 or .20, guess ill use the .20

Airsoft can break the skin...  they can also tear away at a cinder block.

Of course I'm talking about 350+ fps.
