Why would you need that many rounds

Because he doesn't want to have to hide behiend cover every three minutes to pull out his loader and  reload his one magazine. Instead you just load them all up and only reload spent clips during downtime, derp.

Can anyone help me find a cheap, decent, starter airsoft pistol? I'm not gonna get into any pro wars, and none of my friends have any high powered guns.(well one has a semi-powerfull desert eagle that stings) Right now I'm convicing my parents to let me get one, and would prefer spring.

oh and if possible a cheap rifle too? sorry if im being too picky or such :c

oh and planning on seeing 12 olf nerf guns for some money

Now I personaly wouldn't recommend using a pistol as your primary. And I really go against spring weapons, I used one the first day I played airsoft and hated it. Shooting and reloding, then repeat the process untill you reload is just not how I like to play. I would recomend for a pistol to get a CO2, such as  this pistol. or just check out  this and change it to display low to high. CO2 guns are gas powered guns with a high FPS (feet per second). However the downsides are they require CO2 cartrages (you can buy them at Wal Mart) and the cost can add up after playing alot. Also if it's too cold you just can't play because it won't fire. However if you use it as a secondary and don't use it unless you have to it will probably not cost you alot in CO2 and will get you out of a tight spot alot faster than a gun that requires you to rooster it back every shot. For the rifle I would recomend something like this AK47 . It has an impresive 350FPS for it's lower price and comes with a 600 round hi-cap magazine. Another thing is it comes with battery and charger leaving you with less things to have to buy with the gun. Now for extra gear you will need just go on amazon. You will need safety glasses (even go to your local hardware store if you have to). A quick loader, and a smaller BB holder, then finaly get a big round jar of BB's and you should be fine. With guns and gear like that it won't take much skill to overpower the other people that play against you.

Does anyone know when airsoftgi restocks? I'm trying to get this but it's been out of stock for a couple of months :/

Yes, tell him to get a gun that could kill one of his friends! Isn't that spiffy!

airsoftGI took about a year to re-stock an item that I wanted.
