thank you my loving god, now i dont have to make my own topic!
MMkay, im looking for a decent airsoft sniper for 30>. It didnt happen. so i went to hobbytron and they have spring ak47's and aug's, except they are spring, so they are basically rifles.
My choices for primary:
Spring AUG, 380 FPS, magazine: 40. Faux scope (does that mean it works?), $25
Choice 2 for primary:
Spring AUG, better looking (imo), silencer, safety glasses included (not like that really matters, unless my friends are pussies...which they are) The only bad thing is, fps is unknown, and so is everything else about the actual gun itself. $15, pretty cheap
Last choice:
spring ak47, 285 fps, 200 magazine capacity, comes with laser/scope, and a flashlight thingy. $18
Choice for secondary:
spring pistol, 150 fps, comes with silencer, laser.magazine cap: 8. $5
last choice for secondary:
200 fps spring pistol, small, $2.50
so.... primarys: 1 2 and 3, secondarys 4 and 5.... anybody with experience, help? or sugggest a better one?
Mmk, I go airsofting very frequently, and I have quite the collection of guns. I know what guns break and what guns dont. What you WANT to buy is a gun with alot of fps, is heavy, and does not include too many attachments. When a gun has too many attachments, it means that the company didn't spend enough money on the gun itself so they just add a laser pointer or a scope to make it even. Usually the kinds of guns that have alot of attachments end up breaking or sucking.
The reason you want a heavy gun is because it will be more steady, (Making it more accurate) and it will be more sturdy (It probably wont break). FPS = Feet per second. The higher it is the faster the bb's go. If you use .12 gram bb's they will probably get blown by the wind and curve or just drop. What you want is .2 gram bb's or higher, even though they are more expensive you will have the upper hand in wars.
Even though some may think that the gun with the most FPS is the best, it also matters if its spring, gas, or electric. Spring guns will definitely last you a while since they run all on mechanics. I have never had a gas gun so i'm not sure but some of my friends say that they are nice but cost alot and you have to buy gas for them annualy. Electric guns break the most. Sometimes if you leave the battery in the charger it blows up, sometimes it jams and cant un-jam, and sometimes the magazines just break.
Personally, I would go with an electric with around 350-400 FPS, and weighs at least 5 pounds. AT LEAST. You also want to get an extra battery if you run out of juice, and use .2 bb's. This will make your gun not curve at all.
Get a gas pistol, you dont need to rooster them and they are extremely powerful.
P.S. You can just make camo at home, you dont need to buy all that fancy stuff, also, the best camo is wear a black t-shirt and sit in a shadow.
