No, I was suggesting pants to him, not a vest :V

What do you guys think of this gun?
Now imagine this with a flip upfront sight and a folding vertical grip. I`m getting this gun because the stag 15 was out of stock on Evike and asgi and i couldn`t find it anywhere else. Its dboys and is full metal, and is CQB.
Looks like an MP5SSD on the front and an M16 on the back.

Would this be a good gun? Just rechecking because it's out of stock and I want to know if it is worth waiting for

the problem with half of the echo 1 guns I've seen is that they use unique magazines (or mags that are just generally uncommon) so you'll be forgeted if you want a drum or some spares.

cybergun sells magazines for their FA-MAS individually, but they cost a third of the gun's price, and they're uniquely shaped.

other than the whole magazine issue, I'd say that it'd be a decent gun.

airsoft GI doesn't restock a lot, I've been waiting for the DE UMP45 to come back into stock for a few months now.

No it doesn't. In-fact, that's a default M4 receiver and barrel. The only difference is the attached suppressor.

Also if you google "MP5SSD" you won't find anything because that's not what it's called.
Quote
MP5SD1: No buttstock (endplate/receiver cap in place of buttstock), "SEF" trigger group, integrated suppressor (Schalldämpfer)
MP5SD2: Fixed buttstock, "SEF" trigger group, integrated suppressor.
MP5SD3: Retractable buttstock, "SEF" trigger group, integrated suppressor.
MP5SD4: No buttstock (endplate/receiver cap in place of buttstock), 3-round burst trigger group, integrated suppressor.
MP5SD5: Fixed buttstock, 3-round burst trigger group, integrated suppressor.
MP5SD6: Retractable buttstock, 3-round burst trigger group, integrated suppressor.
MP5SD-N1: Retractable buttstock, "Navy" trigger group, KAC stainless steel suppressor.
MP5SD-N2: Fixed buttstock, "Navy" trigger group, KAC stainless steel suppressor.

The barrel doesn't look at all like an SD1.

It's not that airsoft GI doesn't restock often, it's because, alot of manufactures were closed down in China.

This is unture, it's not that they use unique magazines, it's because, there aren't many other guns of that type (G3) so, it's less likely for their to be magazines available for it.

please read the rest of my post, I mentioned somewhere that they use uncommon or unique magazines.

Yeah but it's not because they're made by Echo 1, that has nothing to do with it. Infact, I'm almost positive that the E1, G&G, TM, and CA G3s can use the same magazines. I don't know of a single Echo1 gun that has a proprietary magazine, any one of their guns that is the same "style" as another gun by another decent brand will use the same magazines.

Edit: I guess I'm kind of reading it wrong still but, uncommon magazines has nothing to do with the brand, really, at all.

i never said that only Echo 1 did that.

i'm just saying that a lot of Echo 1 guns that I've seen use G3 mags and G3's are hard to find good drums/boxes for.

what

Only the G3 uses G3 magazines.

edit: Oh, you're talking about drums and boxes, I entirely missed that part. Drum and box mags are gay anyways, epically for a G3, it'd look handicapped.

well, what I meant by G3 mags is that some of the guns I've seen use G3 Style magazines, as in the ones shaped as such. My friend bought an SR25 and it uses a G3-style mag, I believe.
