Anyway, when I get stuff from Evike, it gets here in about a day when I get the message that it has shipped. Bulk of the time is processing and stuff.

Can someone tell me if I will be able to play with this? The game will be kind of CQB, but mostly a big woods, and I want to know if this gun will work.

You can, it's good for both worlds, just maybe get the longer one.

My dearest mother suggested that I buy a shotgun (A cheap Baikal) instead of getting an airsoft gun, but sadly due to UK laws I can't plink in my garden with a side-by-side, I want my bright orange AKS!!!!!!

Yes, with masking tape covering the areas you don't want sprayed. I assume you're in the states where you don't HAVE to join an airsoft league just to buy an airsoft gun that isn't a handicappedly eye-raping colour. Unfortunately, spraypainting an airsoft gun here is bordering on a crime.
